    • Integrated Light Source: The CS-LC7000 comes with an integrated light source that allows for controlled irradiance with a mix of red, green, blue, and white light, up to 2000 µmol m⁻² s⁻¹. This feature aids in simulating various light conditions for plant functioning to aid in gas flux measurement.
    • Infrared Temperature Sensor: The device employs an infrared temperature sensor for non-invasive leaf temperature measurements. This sensor captures a broad leaf area, providing an average temperature reading instead of a point-based measurement, enhancing the accuracy of leaf temperature measurement.
    • Integrated Cooling System: The chamber incorporates a cooling system that maintains the initial temperature at which data recording commences. This system ensures that external heat or heat generated by the leaf does not affect the chamber, providing accurate and consistent temperature readings (within ±0.5°C).
    • Mixing Fan and PTFE Layers within Chamber: The inclusion of a small fan inside the chamber guarantees proper gas mixing, enabling precise measurements of gas fluxes. The chamber's inner side is coated with a thin PTFE layer that prevents gas adsorption, further ensuring the accuracy of measurements.

The CredoSense Leaf Chamber (CS-LC7000) is a portable and lightweight device designed for accurate and reliable measurement of photosynthetic parameters. It provides an enclosed space for measuring parameters such as temperature, relative humidity, and photosynthetically active radiation, without disturbing the leaf.

The CS-LC7000 features an infrared temperature sensor that measures the leaf temperature accurately and a mixing fan that ensures proper mixing of gasses inside the chamber. The integrated cooling system maintains the temperature at which data recording was started, preventing any heat from affecting the chamber.

The chamber measures barometric pressure, relative humidity, and temperature with high accuracy. The photosynthetically active radiation is measured with an accuracy of ±50 μmol m−2 s−1. A thin PTFE layer on the inner side of the chamber prevents the absorption of various gasses.

The top of the chamber is transparent acrylic, allowing sunlight to enter for photosynthesis. The device has a 1.3-inch OLED display that shows time, time duration, and chamber temperature and relative humidity. The clock of the CS-LC7000 is accurate up to ±1 minute per year, ensuring precise time measurement that can also be seen on the display.

The CS-LC7000 can be used with any type of gas analyzer, making it a versatile tool for researchers in plant science, agriculture, and environmental science. Its ergonomic design and easy-to-use features make it an ideal choice for field measurements.
